This could mean that after this film, Krabs revised the manual so that employees could memorize the formula, hence SpongeBob remembering the formula in those episodes. The movie seems to take place somewhere in the middle of the show. However, in numerous episodes of the show ("Welcome to The Chum Bucket" and "The Inside Job" spring to mind) he does know the formula from memory. The fact that SpongeBob doesn't have the secret formula memorized is a major plot point in the film.(And, she was also smart enough to know that they didn't have the strength to carry the human.) Honestly, it's funnier that she just went along with them. If she said it was a human, she would have to explain throughly what a "human" is and what all the "humans" are doing on land. She tried to tell them it wasn't a porpoise, but they wouldn't listen. Why was Sandy helping them "unbeach" that human when she knew it was a human?.Stephen Hillenburg, the show's creator, has stated multiple times that the first movie takes place after all of the episodes, which implies that this movie takes place before it.She just was unconscious until the status quo was restored. Besides, Karen wouldn't be so willing to go through with the plan if it meant she died. Plankton tells Karen that he's glad she is on his team, not that she was on his team.I doubt he wouldn't keep back-ups around. Since this movie is a prequel to the first one, I assume Plankton just reassembled her. ![]()
